Our class size is up to thirteen children to one teacher, in their individual play and evidence-based classrooms featuring learning areas in science, math, writing, sensory, creative expression, art, blocks and building, music, dramatic play, listening, and library. Students may also have the opportunity to use and manipulate developmentally appropriate, relevant, and culturally expanding materials, as well as experience many diverse in-house field trips and family programs. Our Pre-K and child care students have multiple opportunities to serve our New Richmond community, through programs, activities, and service projects.

FREE PREK PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
-ONLY up to 13 students per section, at this time we only have 52 slots available
-our PreK program (3 hours each day) will continue to be free through the DCF Readiness program
-our wrap around rate will be able to be lowered with this model
-our DPI licensed teaching team of Mrs. Firestone and Mrs. Grender will continue, and are excited about this next level for our 4 year old students, and DPI licensed teacher Mrs. McLaren will return to the Academy as we open additional space !
-we are officially partnering with the Centre which will benefit our PreK students by providing swimming lessons, on-site physical education instruction, discounts and more
-we have added a Registered Nurse to our staff for health and nutrition support and lessons
-we will have music experiences and instruction from a professional worship leader on staff
-we have science as a special as well, including work with our own NASA ambassador instructor!
-a dedicated Christian Education curriculum and delivery
-our curriculum will continue to include WMELS standards, Heggerty, Second Step, and mathematics instruction via NAEYC recommendations
-many of the family connection events that we love will continue, many will return, and we have some fantastic new activities planned!
Our unique partnership with The Centre will allow to provide expanded offerings only available to our private Pre-K students!
